The means ,the actions that are engaged in ,the actions that are plotted and purposefully ,will-fully done to gain an end ...an end Goal , ALWAYS have to be scrutinized ,always.And if the actions scrutinized on there own do not stand up to the test of rightiousness, then they STILL do not stand up in the end, even if that end "by itself" is a good thing.
That good thing then is bad...REALLY.
